32 Flashcards + Parents Guidebook:

This thoughtfully designed set is created to nurture water familiarity and support confidence in children. These expertly developed activities promote play-based engagement, designed for parents and caregivers to use with their children in convenient 10-15 minute bite-sized sessions. Perfect for use at home or in aquatic settings, these activities help build essential readiness for swim lessons. Cards and guidebook are A6 in size (10.5cm x 14.8cm).

Each card features engaging, play-based strategies intended to make water familiarisation inviting and effective, helping your child build comfort and positive engagement.

  • Supporting Aquatic Exploration: The flashcards and comprehensive guidebook serve as a valuable tool for new experiences, inviting children to explore water in various settings. This fosters positive attitudes toward water, contributing to children's safety and comfort, and enhances their readiness for formal swim lessons.

  • Caution: Children 3 years and under should be supervised when using cards. Cards should not be chewed or sucked on; doing so may result in small parts causing a choking hazard.

  • How to Wear Your Gentle Ear Covers Headband

Wearing your Ablee Sensory Ear Covers Headband is simple and designed for comfort and effective ear protection. It's just like putting on a regular headband, but with a focus on covering the ears properly.

Here's how to ensure an optimal fit:

  1. Choose Your Size: First, select the correct size (Small, Medium, or Large) based on our sizing guide to ensure the best fit for the wearer's head circumference.

  2. Positioning: Hold the headband with both hands, one on each side. Place the front of the headband on the forehead, just above the eyebrows.

  3. Slide Back & Cover Ears: Gently slide the headband back over the head. As you do this, ensure the wider parts of the headband completely cover both ears. The headband should sit snugly and comfortably over the ears and around the back of the head.

  4. Adjust for Comfort: Smooth down any hair underneath the headband. Make sure there are no creases in the neoprene over the ears and that it's not too tight or too loose. The goal is a secure fit that doesn't put uncomfortable pressure on the ears or head.

  5. Check Ear Coverage: Double-check that the entire ear, including the lobe, is tucked inside the headband's cover for maximum protection from water and elements.

Expanding Breathing Ball:

This expanding sphere is designed as a visual and tactile breathing tool to support slow, controlled breath awareness. Children can gently pull the ball open while inhaling and push it closed while exhaling, reinforcing mindful breathing patterns. This product is a non-therapeutic sensory tool; it is not a medical device and does not replace professional intervention for anxiety or respiratory conditions. Made with plastic, it measures 14cm in diameter.

  • Benefits and Use: Watching the sphere grow and shrink gives children a clear, engaging cue to match their inhales and exhales, offering visual biofeedback. This lightweight and portable tool offers a consistent visual anchor for breath practice, whether at home, poolside, or during transitions when children need a moment of calm. It is suitable for use in calm water environments such as baths or pools, catering to individuals of all ages.

  • How to Use & Complementary Support: Inhale as you gently pull the ball open over approximately 3 seconds; exhale as you slowly guide it back together over 3 seconds. This interactive tool turns breathing into a visual and tactile experience, supporting focus and calm transitions during water play.

  • Caution: This product is recommended for ages 3+ due to small moving parts and a potential choking hazard warning for children under 3 years. Adult supervision is always recommended when children are using the ball, especially in water environments.
